Videography Portfolio

Below are some of the most recent video projects I have worked on. I filmed and edited each of these videos, and additional information about each specific video is provided below.

01

Balancing a Lifestyle of Fitness, Massage, and Nutrition at Body Balance Pleasanton
This was the follow-up to the video below, created for Body Balance Fitness and Massage in Pleasanton, California. I conducted all interviews, developed some of the interview questions, and did all camera and editing work. The owners of the company loved the first video so much that they asked me to make a second video, featuring the interviews that were not used in the first. I used a Panasonic Lumix S1 to film, and edited using Adobe Premiere Pro.

02

Maintaining Meaningful Client Relationships at Body Balance Pleasanton

This video, featuring a series of interviews from clients and staff members, was created for Body Balance Fitness and Massage for promotional purposes and as a celebration of their business, which has flourished for over 25 years. Recruiting for Stanislaus State Tennis

This interview video was created for the Stanislaus State women's tennis team to provide information about the tennis program to future recruits. It features interviews with four graduates from the tennis team, including myself, and an interview with the head tennis coach. I did all planning, camera set-ups, filming, b-roll shots, and video editing. Rode lav mics were used for the interviews, most shots were filmed with a Panasonic Lumix S1, and it was edited using Adobe Premiere Pro. Additionally, I did all audio and color corrections and picked background music for the video. This entire process was done in 6 days, with a total of 26 hours filming and editing.

This interview video was created to accompany an article about Stan State athletes for the Signal Newspaper. I worked with another Signal videographer to put this together. I did all of the video and audio editing, color correction, motion graphics, and planning interview questions. Additionally, I filmed the majority of the video clips seen and took action photos of the athletes. I did not write the article. This was edited using Adobe Premiere Pro and filmed with a Panasonic Lumix GH5 and S1.

05

First Generation: Cycle of Growth

This documentary was created in November of 2022 as a group project for my Visual Anthropology class. I did all of the video and audio editing and color correction. Additionally, I did a majority of the camera work, shooting b-roll, planning, finding locations, camera set-ups, and script editing. My goal was to capture a realistic depiction of what college life is like for former and current Indigenous and First-Generation students. Additionally, I included footage from Stan State’s 6th Annual Indigenous People’s Day Celebration event on campus in October 2022. This was edited using Adobe Premiere Pro and filmed with a Panasonic Lumix GH5 and S1.

06

The Grand Opening of the Warrior Fab Lab

This event recap video was created in April of 2023 for the Signal Newspaper. I did all of the video editing and most of the camera work, including capturing b-roll. Stan State Tennis Hawaii Recap: The Signal Newspaper

This event recap video was created for The Signal Newspaper to accompany an article I wrote about the tennis team’s Hawaii trip. It is the same as the tennis hype video, except this one is shortened and the music is omitted. This video’s focus was on the realism of each moment in Hawaii, rather than for hyping up the trip and bringing energy with music. I did all video and audio editing, color correction, and motion graphics using Final Cut Pro. Using an iPhone, I filmed some of the video clips while others were filmed by my teammates.

09
